Beyond the Original Photograph
I have always been a visual person. Images often express what I find difficult to put into words.
My work begins with photography, but it does not always end with the original photograph. Through creative recreation, styling, color, lighting, fashion, and carefully imagined environments, I explore what else an image—and the person within it—could become.
A simple portrait can be reimagined as a cinematic moment in New York, an editorial fashion photograph in Paris, or an evening on the Mediterranean coast. The person remains at the heart of the image. The goal is not to replace who they are, but to reveal possibilities that may not have been visible in the original setting.
I think of every recreation as a visual sample: a glimpse of how someone might look with the right wardrobe, atmosphere, location, and creative direction. Sometimes we cannot imagine ourselves in a particular style or place until we are able to see it.
That is the philosophy behind Apple Symbols.
The images presented here are not meant simply to say, “Look at this photograph.” They are invitations to look beyond the original frame—to imagine another setting, another mood, another side of yourself.
My photography has evolved from documenting what is in front of the camera to exploring what could be. Each recreation brings together photography and imagination while preserving the character, individuality, and recognizable identity of the person portrayed.
This site is a continuing visual experiment in fashion, aspiration, transformation, and storytelling.
